Forgive my enthusiasm. I started my outdoor areas for the season and I'm pretty pumped about it. I know I will be tomorrow, in pain, but it is the kind of pain it hurts so good!
While I was happily pounding the pavement in the morning I thought of some helpful advice for outdoor runners.
For more outdoor space:
Run on grass, if possible. If I walk out on the road in the dirt / grass beside the concrete. The grass is much lighter onCollections. It absorbs bumps better than my Asics Gel running shoes. After riding on the sidewalk, you hear in hip and knee. Not 'Hurt' So Good is away.
Hill is your friend. Salita anyway! Downhill = Shinsplints. Uphill = strong legs and buttocks. The proper way to run up the hills is to lean on them, and shorten stride. When you reach the top, you should go over it and get back on pace. If creep and homeIt may be necessary to start with a small hill!
Push yourself a bit 'over. If you start to break walk, to feel the need for one, look ahead and select an item. It could be a bus stop, intersection or really be anything. Just choose a location that you want to accomplish cracking. This technique will help you just press a bit 'more difficult, so we can improve. If you stop when you feel like you're always tired and not at some point Break Your EnergyPlateau.
Take the stairs. Try adding a few steps in the race. In one of my routes, I found to have three big step. Stairs Add your workout. They increase heart rate and working in different muscles of the lower penalty. Think of climbing with the whole foot on the stairs, push the heel for maximum benefit. I remember when I ran the Toronto Zoo 10k, was a large scale midway through the barrel. Everyone complained andDyspnea. Not with me! I knew I could do it, no problem! If ever I thought it was a nice change to be already there to run so long.
Stretch after the race. The difference between treadmill and running outdoors is like day and night! The treadmill keeps electric games. Without your body and with all her strength to carry on. We feel it! After my run this morning, my muscles were stiff almost immediately! I probably should havestarted with the area three miles, instead of six, but what can I say? I was too excited!
Enjoy. TIFF does not stop the race to the center to relax and monuments of nature around. If I go to sea I go to the lake, only to feel the wind go in minutes. If run through a forest, I explore a bit ', to search for wildlife. A big bonus for outdoor activities, is that you get the landscape. So, enjoy the little things that make you happier andlook forward to your next race even more!
Have a good this season?
